Bartender

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet customers and take drink orders in a friendly and efficient manner.
• Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to established recipes.
• Create a welcoming, enjoyable atmosphere for guests at the bar.
• Monitor the guest experience, ensuring satisfaction and addressing any issues or concerns.
• Handle cash, process payments, and give correct change in an accurate and timely manner.
• Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, including wiping down counters, washing glassware, and keeping the area organized.
• Keep inventory stocked, and restock supplies as needed.
• Follow all health, safety, and sanitation procedures to ensure a clean and safe work environment.
• Engage with customers to promote special offers, new drinks, and menu items.
• Assist with opening and closing duties, including setting up and breaking down the bar area.
• Stay up-to-date on drink trends, menu changes, and specials.

Qualifications:

• Previous bartending experience is preferred, but not required.
• Strong knowledge of drink recipes, bartending techniques, and alcohol laws.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
• Must be able to stand for long periods and lift heavy items (barrels, kegs, boxes of supplies).
• Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
• Must be of legal age to serve alcohol (if applicable).
• TIPS certification (or equivalent) is a plus.
• Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
