Summary
Hotel Saint Augustine, a luxury boutique hotel in the beautiful Montrose district of Houston, is seeking a friendly and service-oriented Seasonal Pool Server to provide an exceptional poolside dining experience for our guests. As a Pool Server, you will take orders, serve food and beverages, and ensure that guests enjoy a relaxed and elegant atmosphere while lounging by the pool.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, high-end service in line with luxury hospitality standards.
- Take food and beverage orders, accurately input them into the POS system, and deliver them promptly.
- Offer menu recommendations and accommodate guest requests, including dietary needs.
- Ensure all poolside areas are clean, organized, and stocked with necessary supplies.
- Monitor guest satisfaction and address any concerns or special requests efficiently.
- Assist with setting up and breaking down the poolside dining area before and after shifts.
- Uphold all health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
Qualifications
Qualifications & Experience:
- Previous serving experience in a luxury hotel, resort, or high-end restaurant preferred.
- Strong knowledge of food and beverage service, including cocktails and wine.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced outdoor environment.
- Must be able to stand, walk, and carry trays for extended periods.
- Must have or be willing to obtain food handler and responsible alcohol service certifications, as required by local laws.
Schedule & Compensation:
- Seasonal position (Spring/Summer), with flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
