Job Overview: We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our team. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and creating a memorable experience for our guests. Duties: - Greet customers warmly and provide them with menus - Take drink orders from customers and serve beverages promptly - Prepare and mix alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks according to recipes and customer preferences - Check identification of customers to verify age requirements for the purchase of alcohol - Upsell additional items such as appetizers or desserts to enhance the guest experience - Maintain a clean and organized bar area, including restocking supplies and cleaning glasses and utensils - Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently, including processing payments and providing change - Follow all safety and sanitation procedures to ensure a safe working environment Skills: - Strong hospitality and customer service skills - Previous experience in the restaurant or food service industry preferred - Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks simultaneously - Basic math skills for cash handling and calculating drink prices - Knowledge of food handling safety guidelines - Familiarity with point-of-sale (POS) systems for order processing Note: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
