Wage: $18.00-$20.00
Position Details:
As a Concierge and Guest Services Representative at Hotel Saranac, you’ll be at the heart of creating memorable experiences for our guests. You’ll oversee all aspects of front office operations, ensuring every guest has a smooth and unforgettable stay. From assisting with personalized activity, dining, and spa reservations to answering guest inquiries with a friendly smile, your role will make a lasting impact. You’ll be the first point of contact for guests, managing check-ins and check-outs, creating and modifying reservations, and processing payments with efficiency and care. Above all, you’ll deliver personalized, memorable experiences, ensuring each guest feels valued and their stay is uniquely tailored to their needs and preferences.
Key Responsibilities:
Guest Service and Front Office:
- Provide top-notch guest service during check-ins and check-outs.
- Assist with all reservation needs, including dining, activities, and spa bookings.
- Address guest inquiries, requests, or concerns and ensure quick resolutions with management.
- Maintain knowledge of hotel services, local area history, and property amenities.
- Promote and maintain positive relations with guests, staff, and all departments.
- Keep track of guest feedback through Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software and satisfaction surveys.
Concierge Specific Duties:
- Provide top-notch guest service during check-ins and check-outs.
- Help guests with special requests and VIP needs, including birthdays, anniversaries, and other special occasions.
- Assist with concierge-related administrative tasks, including managing emails, phone calls, and text messages.
- Update local information racks and chalkboards with activity ideas and interesting local trivia.
- Be the face of the hotel on social media platforms like Facebook and Instagram, posting engaging content that reflects the Hotel Saranac experience.
Requirements:
- Previous Hotel Customer Service experience is preferred. But will train the right person
- Strong communication, computer and phone skills, and general administrative tasks.
- Excellent multitasking and organizational abilities.
- Proficient in computer use, phone handling, and general administrative tasks.
- A positive, outgoing personality and a passion for helping others.
- Ability to stay calm under pressure while providing exceptional service.
- An interest or experience in social media management is a plus!
