Hotel Scottsdale is seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Engineer to join our team in our boutique property. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge and experience in hotel, hospitality or property maintenance, ensuring the efficient operation of our equipment and systems. This role is critical in maintaining the upkeep of our guest rooms, public areas and guest rooms.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs of guest room facilities, including plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems.
- Conduct inspections to identify potential problems or areas for improvement in equipment performance.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and parts inventory.
- Operate machinery safely while adhering to all safety protocols.
- Collaborate with housepersons to complete preventative maintenance and other routine projects.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies during all maintenance activities.

Experience
- Proven experience in a maintenance role within the hospitality industry is preferred.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in electrical systems and plumbing.
- Familiarity with HVAC systems and their maintenance is advantageous.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating strong problem-solving skills.
