About the Position

The Night Auditor is responsible for ensuring the hotel’s overnight operations run smoothly while preparing and balancing daily financial reports. This hybrid role supports both front desk guest services and accounting duties, and plays a key role in maintaining guest satisfaction and the safety of the property during the night shift.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet guests and assist with check-in/check-out procedures
• Answer guest inquiries, handle requests, and resolve concerns overnight
• Process payments, balance and verify credit card and cash transactions
• Complete the daily night audit process, compiling and distributing financial reports
• Reconcile front desk and restaurant charges for accuracy
• Submit credit card batches and post room/tax charges
• Ensure accurate folio balances, room availability, and audit reports
• Maintain a clean and secure front desk environment
• Assist with valet parking or luggage handling if needed
• Communicate important shift details to incoming staff

Expectations & Qualifications

• Prior front desk or accounting experience preferred (hotel night audit experience a plus)
• Strong attention to detail and basic math/accounting skills
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities
• Comfortable working independently overnight
• Must be organized, professional, and dependable
• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or related experience preferred

Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
