Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Dishwasher to join our team in a fast-paced kitchen environment. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and organization within the kitchen, ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment are cleaned and sanitized promptly. This position is essential for supporting our culinary team and providing an exceptional dining experience for our guests.

Responsibilities

• Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashing equipment.
• Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing area and ensure all items are properly stored after cleaning.
• Assist with food preparation as needed, including bussing tables and helping with kitchen tasks.
• Follow health and safety regulations to maintain a clean and safe working environment.
• Support catering and banquet services by ensuring all necessary items are cleaned and ready for events.
• Report any maintenance issues or equipment malfunctions to the kitchen supervisor promptly.
• Collaborate with the culinary team to ensure smooth operations during peak service times.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a kitchen or hospitality environment is preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with catering, banquet services, or culinary operations is a plus.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Strong teamwork skills and a positive attitude towards helping others in the kitchen.
• Must be able to stand for long periods and lift moderate weights as required by the role.
