Retail Supervisor

Job Overview
The Retail Supervisor is responsible for ensuring the successful operation of the retail store, focusing on achieving sales goals, managing inventory, and upholding high customer service standards. The Supervisor will provide leadership to the retail team and ensure effective training, coaching and development of all staff members. The ideal candidate should have strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities and a focus on driving sales performance while maintaining a positive team environment.

Duties

• Oversee store operations and maintain guest satisfaction by ensuring all staff deliver excellent customer service.
• Manage inventory, including receiving, labeling and stocking merchandise accurately and efficiently.
• Assist in developing and executing business plans, focusing on sales goals and fiscal responsibility.
• Create employee schedules and manage payroll accuracy to maintain labor costs.
• Conduct regular staff training, coaching and mentoring to enhance performance and customer service.
• Provide financial reports to senior management, tracking store performance, trend and forecasts.
• Collaborate with the General Manager and Director of Retail Operations to evaluate product performance and make necessary adjustments.
• Maintain store cleanliness and product displays according to company standards.
• Ensure compliance with all operational standards, policies and local laws.
• Maintain a professional appearance and a clean, organized store environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead retail operations to meet company goals and provide exceptional guest experiences.
• Train, motivate and empower staff to excel in customer service.
• Assist with receiving merchandise, verifying shipments and updating inventory systems.
• Manage store displays and backstock areas, ensuring cleanliness and organization.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as well as other duties as assigned.
• Take initiative to identify and resolve issues before they escalate.

Experience

• Proven experience in retail management or supervisory roles is preferred.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

• Experience with cash handling processes and financial reporting is advantageous.
• Ability to motivate a team while fostering a positive work environment.
• Familiarity with training development practices to enhance employee performance.

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
