Job Description:
As a Housekeeper at Hotel State College, you will be an integral part of maintaining the luxurious, polished, and well-kept appearance of our iconic hotel. You take pride in delivering outstanding cleanliness and service to our guests, ensuring that their stay is nothing short of exceptional. Your attention to detail will help preserve the beauty of our property while enhancing the guest experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Clean and maintain guest rooms, bathrooms, and public areas according to hotel standards, with attention to detail in preserving the hotel's historical features.
- Replace linens, towels, and amenities, ensuring all rooms are stocked and ready for guest arrivals.
- Dust, vacuum, and sanitize all surfaces
- Ensure that guest rooms and common areas reflect the high standards of comfort and cleanliness that define our brand.
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and linens, reporting any shortages to the housekeeping supervisor.
- Report any maintenance issues, damage, or hazards promptly to the appropriate department.
- Assist with laundry duties as needed, ensuring linens are cleaned and stored according to hotel standards.
- Maintain a positive, professional attitude while interacting with guests, providing them with a welcoming and comfortable experience.
- Follow all safety and health protocols, maintaining cleanliness and safety in all work areas.
Qualifications:
- Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail with a passion for delivering impeccable service.
- Ability to work efficiently and independently, with excellent time management skills.
- Physically able to perform cleaning duties, including standing, bending, and lifting
- Professional, friendly, and proactive demeanor when interacting with guests and colleagues.
- Ability to work weekends, evenings, and holidays as required.
