DEPARTMENT: Procurement
REPORTS TO: Director of Procurement
STATUS: Non-Exempt
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assist Procurement Manager with the following tasks:
- Receive and unload shipments delivered to Hotel Vin, Harvest Hall, and all entities at the Grapevine Mainstreet Station.
- Create and maintain accurate receiving records of those shipments.
- Processing all shipment documentation and forwarding it to the Director of Procurement and Accounting.
- Inspect all deliveries for damages and quality.
- Follow all national, state, and local hazardous material shipping guidelines and regulations.
- Stage merchandise and deliver to the appropriate area.
- Maintain the cleanliness of the storage and other areas assigned by the Director of Procurement.
- Maintain heath safety logs for refrigerators and freezers in storage areas.
- Receive, log, store, and deliver incoming and outgoing department parcels.
- Receive, log, store, and deliver incoming and outgoing guest parcels.
- Conduct a monthly inventory count for Food and Beverage inventories.
- Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to manager; complete safety training and certifications.
- Other job duties assigned by Director of Procurement.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 50 pounds without assistance. Grasp, turn, and manipulate objects of varying size and weight, requiring fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination. Move through narrow, confined, or elevated spaces. Move over sloping, uneven, or slippery surfaces as well as up and down stairs and/or service ramps. Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.- High School Diploma/GED
