What are the responsibilities and job description for the Boutique - Boutique Associate (Part-Time) position at Hotels and Resorts of Halekulani?
As an integral part of a team, the Boutique Associate is responsible for continuously looking for ways to improve each customer’s experience from providing exceptional guest service to assisting with various aspects of retail operations including receiving, tagging, displaying, selling, processing settlement, and gift wrapping of merchandise purchased by guests.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Greet, acknowledge, and offer assistance to all arriving/departing customers.
Maintain complete knowledge of:
All departmental policies/service procedures/standards.
Proper use of equipment.
Complete opening and closing duties as assigned accurately.
Monitor and maintain presentation of merchandise, restock as needed.
Monitor quality of merchandise.
Monitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of all work areas.
Assists customers with various retail services in person and over the phone.
Complete monthly inventory counts.
Packs and prepares order for shipping and processes payment.
Perform all other duties as may be required or assigned.
SUPERVISORY REQUIREMENTS
Reports To: Boutique Operations Manager
Supervises: None
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or equivalent vocational training certificate.
Any combination of education and experience which would provide the necessary knowledge, skills, and abilities to meet the minimum qualifications to perform the essential functions of this position.
Prior guest relations experience.

Able to anticipate guest needs; respond promptly and acknowledge all guests.
Ensure familiarity with all hotel services/features and local attractions and activities to respond to guest inquiries accurately.
Must be highly organized, detail-oriented and have the ability to multi-task.
Able to maintain positive guest relations at all times.
Able to operate a Point-of-Sale system operation and manual procedures.
Able to operate a Property Management System.
Able to maintain an accurate bank.
