Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated Assistant General Manager to assist in overseeing the daily operations of our hotel properties. Responsibilities:
- Assist in all aspects of hotel operations, including front desk, housekeeping, and maintenance
- Help develop and implement strategies to maximize revenue and minimize expenses
- Help manage budgets and financial performance, including forecasting and cost control
- Help ensure compliance with all health, safety, and licensing regulations
- Help recruit, train, supervise, and motivate staff members to provide outstanding guest service
- Help monitor guest feedback and resolve any issues or complaints in a timely manner
- Help implement and maintain effective systems for reservations, check-in/check-out procedures, and night audit processes
- Collaborate with general manager, sales and marketing teams to help develop promotional strategies and increase occupancy rates
- Maintain strong relationships with vendors, suppliers, and other business partners
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to continuously improve hotel operations
Skills:
- Strong leadership abilities with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Knowledge of revenue management strategies to optimize hotel profitability
- Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction
- Ability to handle difficult situations with professionalism and tact
- Ability to update and manage hotel bookings sites
