HotFoot Recruiters is excited to partner with a well-established consulting engineering firm to hire a Bilingual Senior Mechanical Designer (Mandarin / English). This full-time role offers the opportunity to lead and coordinate mechanical / plumbing system designs for a wide range of construction projects, including educational, medical, institutional, and commercial buildings. Title : Bilingual Senior Mechanical Designer
Location : Phoenix, AZ (On-Site)
Type : Full-Time; Direct Hire
Pay Range : $80,000 – $120,000 / year
Responsibilities
- Design and coordinate mechanical and plumbing systems for construction projects, ensuring compliance with applicable codes and standards (ASHRAE, NFPA, IBC, LEED).
- Develop basis of design narratives, perform load calculations, and create construction design documents using Revit and AutoCAD .
- Manage project workflows and deliverables, delegating work effectively to production staff and providing mentorship to junior team members.
- Collaborate with clients, architects, consultants, and contractors to define project requirements and present engineering solutions.
- Stay informed about the latest trends and advancements in mechanical / plumbing systems by communicating with manufacturers and contractors.
- Oversee construction administration tasks to ensure successful project outcomes, including submittal reviews and field inspections.
- Lead and support continuous improvement initiatives within the team.
