What are the responsibilities and job description for the Nonprofit Admin Assistant position at HOTH CDC?
The administrative assistant will assist the staff with the administration and coordination of all programs of Homes on the Hills CDC, a leading nonprofit affordable housing organization. The administrative assistant will coordinate the day-to-day activities related to office management including written communication, computer and database coordination, correspondence, phone answering, tracking of information from phone calls and emails.
The administrative assistant will assist the staff in the reporting and administration of all administrative areas. This includes but is not limited to :
Tracking calls and coordinating client intake.
Entering housing counseling client file data into database system.
Coordinating class registration, email / mailings, and the distribution of program information for housing counseling programs.
Ordering office supplies and general office management tasks.
Coordinate administration of activities related to the Board of Trustees.
Assist in project financial reporting and record keeping.
Assist staff as needed in the areas of computer and database support.
The position is a full-time position : non-exempt status. Estimated hours at 35-40 hours per week. Job will be performed onsite at our office locaiton at 3659 Soldano Blvd, Columbus, OH 43228.
General Duties and assignments :
Provide clerical support for the administrative operations of HOTH.
Answer phone calls and provide referral information.
Entering client data into CMS.
Assist with the production of grant applications, collection of program stats, and reports.
Assist with filing and processing of financial information.
Provide program information to the general public.
Other duties as assigned.
Skills and Experience
Successful Applicant : will be proficient in Microsoft Office; proficiency in Power Point, Excel, Word, Publisher and other similar applications; proficiency in interpersonal and written communications. EOE.
