What are the responsibilities and job description for the Studio Waitstaff position at HOTplate Pottery & Art Studio?
HOTplate Pottery & Clayworks is currently looking for one to two studio wait staff to start ASAP. This is not a seasonal position, and you MUST be available during Summer Break. (HOTplate is closed and has paid holidays for Memorial Day and Independence Day.)
What’s the job like?
Do you love waiting on customers but hate serving food? Do you like meeting new people? Hosting parties? Spending time with kids and families? This might be the position for you! Your work will provide a welcoming atmosphere where people can feel comfortable to create with friends and family or by themselves as a creative outlet.
An art background is not necessary. In fact, this position does not include any pottery painting or employee-created artwork. This job is great for anyone interested in working in a fast-paced creative environment and with children and families.

You must be able to use creative problem-solving skills to answer customers' questions and do your job independently. You can always ask questions, but we need to know you’re confident in your training and can use basic problem solving skills like reading our procedures manual or using Google to answer basic questions.
