Role: Senior Aerospace Laboratory Technician
Salary: $70,000 - $100,000
Location: Torrance, CA
Clearance: MUST be Secret cleared or higher
A leading Military Aircraft Group is seeking a Senior Aerospace Laboratory Technician in Torrance, CA. This onsite role reports to the Site Engineering Lab Manager and requires an active DoD Secret Clearance.
Key Qualifications:
- Background in mechanical, hydraulic, or electromechanical testing
- Experience testing to RTCA DO-160 or MIL-STD-810 (preferred)
- Proficiency with hand tools, test instruments, and lab equipment
- Familiarity with LabView, DIAdem, dSPACE, Dewesoft, or MATLAB (preferred)
Responsibilities:
- Conduct environmental and functional tests for product development & qualification
- Maintain safety standards in a hazardous lab environment
- Set up, inspect, and operate test equipment per procedures
- Analyze test data, troubleshoot anomalies, and support engineers
- Prepare detailed test logs, reports, and documentation
- Provide training and collaborate across teams
