Role: Senior Project Engineer – Aerospace
Salary: $120,000 - $160,000
Location: Torrance, CA (3 days a week, 9/80 work schedule)
Clearance: Secret or higher
A leading aerospace company is seeking a Senior Project Engineer to drive the development of electro-mechanical and mechanical flight control systems for next-generation military aircraft. This role requires technical leadership in advanced development programs and customer collaboration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead design, analysis, development, and testing of complex flight actuation control hardware
- Oversee system validation, integration, and guide supporting engineers & technicians
- Serve as the focal point for customer communications and design evolution
- Ensure project success by managing cost, schedule, and scope
- Collaborate with Program Management to drive project completion
Qualifications:
- 7 years of design/development engineering experience (3 in Aerospace)
- Experience leading technical teams and managing engineering projects
- US security clearance required
- Knowledge of EVMS, project planning, and scheduling (preferred)
