Responsibilities
- Collaborate with all segments to ensure we are making decisions that help to maximize efficiencies while meeting customer needs.
- Help navigate and communicate equipment breakdowns or schedule complications.
- Work to collectively maintain all company equipment needs.
- Large Trucks: Telebelt & Boom Crane
- Crew Trucks: 1 ton, ¾ ton, and ½ ton
- Small Equipment: Bobcats, trailers
- Small Engine: finish machines, generators, oilers, chop saws
- Comprehensive understanding of equipment condition, service records, permits, registration, etc.
- Makes financial decisions to control costs with subcontractor spend.
- Supervise all equipment operators, logistics coordinator, facilities manager, and fleet mechanic.
- Monitor driver performance and safety to ensure driver requirements are being met.
- Work with Segment leaders and Project Managers to develop and implement contingency plans and, when necessary, keep all segments informed of actions being taken.
- Planning and supervision of facility storage and layout.
- Ownership of facility access and secure entry systems. (Key Fobs)
- Analyze and resolve critical planning issues to meet the production schedule, quality, inventory, cost, and safety objectives.
- Formulate strategies on how to make optimum use of company resources. Initiate and support continuous improvement of operational processes and support activities.
- Manage company GeoTab account and reporting.
Qualifications
- Five years experience in logistics, construction, or process improvement.
- Experience in documenting SOPs and training plans.
- Ability to plan and organize, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.
- Previous leadership experience.
- Skilled in using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Salary : $90,000 - $110,000
