What are the responsibilities and job description for the ACCOUNTS PAYABLE ANALYST position at Hotwire Communications Ltd?
The Accounts Payable Analyst is responsible for processing payments for signature, provide necessary documentation and coding for invoices. This position is cross trained in other functions within the finance department.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Accurately code, obtain approval and enter invoices onto Microsoft Dynamics D365.
- Manage inquiries from external and internal vendors and review of vendor statements.
- Maintain vendor master database.
- Analyze system reports and provide financial reporting to support the business.
- Manage periodic review and reconciliation of vendor accounts.
- Assist with intermittent inquiries, annual audit inquiries and assist with ad hoc projects.
- Ensure adherence to established accounting procedures such as processing transactions, account maintenance, recording entries and reconciliation.
- Assist A / P team with daily duties involving discrepancies and daily transactions.
- Ensure invoices are processed accurately and in a timely manner.
- Evaluate, develop, and improve department procedures to increase accuracy, efficiency and maintain satisfactory customer relationships.
- Assist leadership team with reporting.
- Research and find solutions for errors.
- Other duties as assigned by Supervisor.
