What are the responsibilities and job description for the Manager of Product Marketing position at Hotwire Communications?
The Manager of Product Marketing supports the development and management of new products, pricing, and promotional business strategies across residential and enterprise verticals. This role will play a critical role in driving revenue growth through development of new strategy business cases, assessing competitive positioning, projecting sales and pricing recommendations, and driving pricing and promotional offer recommendations and campaign strategies.
Duties / Responsibilities:
- Build new product or feature strategy business cases, assessing consumer needs and market dynamics.
- Develop pricing strategy, sales projections, and profitability assessment modeling.
- Manage pricing strategy, identify pricing and promotional offer opportunities to streamline, support targeted campaign opportunities and grow revenue.
- Work cross-functionally with teams and drive operational implementation.
- Understand and maintain consumer needs and market trend tracking by researching competitor product, pricing, and positioning strategies.
- Develop consumer targeting strategies and supporting tools, work closely with cross-functional teams on implementation and performance tracking.
- Work closely with sales teams on familiarity of new pricing strategies while providing proper sales tools and support aids.
- Collaborate with product, finance, sales, and other key teams to ensure strategies align with broader business objectives.
- Support development and management related performance metric tracking and analytics, oversee product impact on performance and overall portfolio.
- Other duties as assigned by Supervisor.
Minimum Qualifications:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or a related field.
- 5 years of experience in marketing and product strategy, preferably in the telecommunications, technology, or related industry.
- Excellent project management skills, tracking, with the ability to juggle multiple projects at once.
- Effective communication, collaboration, and content creation skills.
- Ability to lead and work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Must have proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Power Point and Outlook), and adapting and use of new tools.
