What are the responsibilities and job description for the Fitness Studio Membership Coordinator position at HOTWORX?
Sales Associate Mission: To provide superior customer service, drive traffic into the location, continually increase the membership base and focus on the retention of current members.
In Studio Work Hours: Studio staffed hours (with General Manager) are Monday-Thursday 11am-8pm, Friday 9am-6pm, Saturday 11am-4pm, Closed Sundays. There will often be promotional events outside the studio.
Hours vary week to week (part-time) based on above days/times.
HOTWORX - 24-Hour Infrared Fitness Studio implementing 3-dimensional training! We combine Heat, Infrared Energy & Exercise to help members flush toxins, tone up, and torch calories. Our studio offers 24-hour access to unlimited sessions ranging from HOT Yoga to Hot Cycle, Hot Buns, and more. Our exclusive workouts are led by a virtual instructor in a semi-private environment, suitable for all fitness levels to give members MORE WORKOUT IN LESS TIME!
Candidates interested in joining our team should expect to be successful in the following:
- Meeting and exceeding membership sales goals
- Working as a team player to help grow the member base of the studio through sales, onboarding new members and superior customer service to keep long term members.
- Marketing Outreach - promote the HOTWORX brand and services in the community including doing research, outreach to prospective members by phone, text, email and social media. Organizing and conducting events to build community awareness and drive new memberships.
- Maintaining accurate records of all sales and prospecting activities, sales calls, closed sales and follow up
- Facility Excellence - ensure the fitness studio and equipment is clean and tidy to meet company standards. Keep the studio in pristine shape. (cleaning saunas, floors, etc. while on shift)
Ideal Candidates should have the following:
- Previous sales experience required
- Customer service experience
- Coachable and dependable
- Must be able to work flexible hours (including weekends)
- Comfortable making daily high-volume sales phone calls
- Comfortable being active with social media
- Ability to achieve weekly and monthly sales quotas
- Someone who is able to think and act proactively by thinking ahead and taking initiative
- Self motivated and able to problem solve
- Outgoing personality
- Strong interest in helping others feel and look their very best
- Personally lead a healthy lifestyle and have a personal passion for fitness
