Description:
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Supervise & direct frozen food clerks’ job performance
- Orders Frozen Food Inventory
- Stocks and straightens merchandise and supplies.
- Rotates merchandise as necessary according to product expiration dates.
- Receives and unloads truck deliveries using available equipment and according to established guidelines.
- Performs basic housekeeping duties using available equipment, (mops, brooms, floor scrubbing and buffing machines, etc.)
- Operates all required tools and equipment in a safe manner except when restricted due to age.
- Ability to lift and move items weighing up to 40 pounds.
- Ability to work in temperature extremes, (frozen food and dairy coolers, maximum low temperature, -10 degrees).
- Standing and/or walking at a rapid pace for extended periods of time to perform job functions.
SECONDARY JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Maintains a clean and neat work area.
- Unloads groceries from customers shopping cart
- Carries or carts groceries to customer’s car.
- Follows established guidelines for completion of all required forms, records, reports and verify receipts.
- Properly bags or packages customers purchases using correct size and quantity of bags.
- Performs all essential job functions at an acceptable level of speed and accuracy.
- Performs all essential job functions with limited supervision.
- Ability to lift and move items weighing over 40 pounds
- Other duties as assigned.

- Eyesight corrected to 20/20.
