What are the responsibilities and job description for the NIGHT MANAGER/MANAGER IN CHARGE, ROCKPORT IGA position at HOUCHENS FOOD GROUP INC?
Main responsibilities of a Manager in Charge: To run the total store when the Store Manager and Assistant Manager are absent. Position Accountabilities:
- Follow and enforce all company policies and programs.
- Complete regular store walks, beginning with the outside and continuing through all grocery and perishable departments inside. Departments must be fully stocked and ready for sales.
- Ensure the total store is organized and clean, inside and outside.
- Ensure the total store is merchandised to company standards.
- Report any and all associate or guest problems or concerns to the Store Manager.
- Train and develop associates for future company needs, and hold all associates accountable for doing their jobs.
- Perform and accurately complete ordering functions.
- Main pricing accuracy.
- Be available to guests and associates.
- Follow up on jobs you delegate.
- Utilize your staff to have the store up to the Assistant Manager and Store Manager's standards before you leave at night.
