Scope
Houlihan Lokey is seeking a Vice President, Tax professional who will lead the Americas tax function, ensuring compliance with all relevant tax laws and regulations. This role manages the US tax team and will be responsible for overseeing US compliance, financial reporting activities (10Q, 10K, etc.) and tax planning, as well as providing strategic tax advice to support the firm’s business objectives.
Responsibilities
- Tax Compliance and Reporting :
Oversee the preparation and filing of federal, state, and indirect tax returns.
Oversee the preparation and review of tax provisions in accordance with ASC 740 and other relevant accounting standards.
Provide tax advice on business transactions, including mergers and acquisitions and restructurings.
Develop and maintain transfer pricing policies and documentation.
Lead and mentor the US tax team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.

The firm’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the possible salary range for this role at the time of posting is : $220,000.00-$250,000.00. Actual salary at the time of hire may vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors, including, but not limited to, the candidate’s relevant qualifications, skills, and experience and the location where this position may be filled.
