Scope
We are seeking a proactive and highly skilled Operational Risk Manager to join our team. This individual will play a pivotal role in assisting with the management of global operational risk initiatives. This includes actively overseeing third-party risk management, corporate insurance, procurement, and outsourcing, while also considering ways to mitigate other potential risks that could impact the organization's financial health, reputation, and operations on a global scale. This individual will also have the potential opportunity to help develop a formal Risk department at Houlihan Lokey.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of operational risk management principles, hands-on experience working with various risk frameworks, and a thorough knowledge of third-party risk and materiality assessments and corporate insurance strategies.
Responsibilities
- Third-Party Risk Management : Collaborate with internal teams to identify, assess, and mitigate risks associated with third-party relationships. Manage and improve newly developed policy and program. Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards, including but not limited to those relating to outsourcing and digital operational resilience.
- Corporate Insurance : Manage and optimize corporate insurance policies, including property & casualty, management & professional liability, and cyber. Work with brokers and corporate teams to review coverage, mitigate gaps, and ensure appropriate risk transfer.
- Compliance & Regulatory Monitoring : With the support of our global Legal & Compliance teams, take the lead role in ensuring adherence to relevant regulations and standards related to operational risk management, third-party vendors, outsourcing, digital operational resilience, and insurance coverage. Stay informed of any regulatory changes that may impact the company's risk posture.
- Incident Management & Response : Support the development of incident management protocols and assist in handling risk events, including crisis management, loss mitigation, and post-incident analysis.
- Collaboration & Training : Work closely with cross-functional teams such as Legal, Compliance, HR, IT, and Accounting to ensure consistent operational risk management practices. Conduct risk training sessions and workshops for employees at all levels to raise awareness of risk issues.
- Risk Reporting & Metrics : Develop and present risk dashboards and reports, providing insights into key risk metrics, trends, and the status of ongoing risk mitigation initiatives.

100,000.00-$130,000.00
Actual salary at the time of hire may vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors, including, but not limited to, the candidate's relevant qualifications, skills, and experience and the location where this position may be filled.
