Scope

The ideal candidate is someone who has a passion for all things data including data quality, data analytics, and data hygiene. As a Data Engineer Intern in Information Technology, you will get hands-on experience working with enterprise-level data at a No. 1 ranked global company utilizing technologies such as Azure, Snowflake, Python, and SQL. If you’re excited by the prospect of optimizing or even re-designing a company’s data architecture to support the next generation of products and data initiatives, then this might be the right opportunity for you.

Responsibilities

• Validating data quality and customer records.
• Achieve data governance by following uniform data standards.
• Assemble data sets (ranging from small to large and simple to complex) that meet both functional and non-functional business requirements.
• Work with teams to assist with data-related technical issues and support their data infrastructure needs.
• Create data tools for analytics that assist in building and optimizing our organization into an innovative industry leader.
  
  

Required Qualifications

• Basic working SQL skills and experience working with relational databases.
• Experience in optimizing data pipelines, architectures, and data sets.
• Motivated, detail-oriented, and passionate about data
• Strong analytical skills with ability to analyze problems and devise viable solutions.
• Ability to collaborate with colleagues and be a team player.
• Demonstrate initiative and ownership of tasks and projects. 
• Ability to work effectively both independently and in team environments. 
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a proven ability to communicate effectively and confidently at all levels
• BA/BS Computer Science / Business / MIS (or equivalent work experience to substitute for education)
  
  

Preferred Requirements

• Experience with Salesforce
• Experience in SQL
• Experience in Python (Anaconda or Python).

Houlihan Lokey is committed to providing its employees with an exciting career opportunity and competitive total compensation package. The firm’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the possible salary range for this role at the time of posting is:

$20.00-$30.00
