Required to work share of weekends and holidays. The duties of a phlebotomist may include properly identifying the patient, interpreting the tests requested on the requisition, drawing blood into the correct tubes with the proper additives, accurately explaining the procedure to the patients, preparing the patients accordingly, instructing patients on post-puncture care, affixing tubes with electronically printed labels, and delivering specimens to a laboratory. Possess knowledge and demonstrate competency in all applicable company, federal, and state safety guidelines.

Required to work variable shifts – 6a-2:30p, 10:30a-7p. Provides patients with appropriate nutritionally balanced meals. Performs meal count to provide cooks with an accurate amount of food needed. High school graduate or equivalent. Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions. Ability to communicate with patients, fellow employees, and supervisors. Must be willing and able to work share of weekends and holidays.
Perform any combination of cleaning duties to maintain the hospital in a clean and orderly manner. Duties include making beds, replenishing linens, cleaning rooms and halls, waiting areas, physician offices, meeting areas from floor to ceiling. This position is a floater for housekeeping, covers all areas as needed. Will do discharges in the ED and Acute Care and will clean other areas not assigned to other housekeepers. Possess knowledge and demonstrate competency in all applicable company, federal, and state safety guidelines. Required to work share of holidays & w/e, rotating every 5th weekend.
