What are the responsibilities and job description for the On Call Medical Secretary, 7a-3p, weekdays (#24-04; Posted 1/5/24) position at Houlton Regional Hospital?
Ideal candidates will be motivated and self-directed and demonstrate excellent communication skills. Participation on hospital committees required. CPR certification required. IV Therapy, PALS/ENPC, TNCC, NALS and ACLS certifications or eligible. 3-5 years nursing experience preferred. Required to work share of weekends and holidays.
Primary assignment is 3 12’s 7a-7p, share of weekend, holiday, and Call coverage. Must have or be eligible for Maine CRTT or RRT licensure. Previous experience preferred.
Ideal candidate will be motivated, self directed, and demonstrate excellent communication skills with the ability to prioritize work flow. Must be proficient in computer/typing skills, have experience with Microsoft Office products such as Word, Excel, and Publisher. Desired candidate will also be able to acclimate and function in an ever changing fast paced environment. Medical terminology proficiency preferred. Current CPR or willingness to obtain.
