Hound Haus is the first of its kind in Pittsburgh: an all-day café, bar, and fully staffed dog park. With over 10,000 sq ft. of dog play space, an intimate café and modern bar, Hound Haus offers a one-of-a-kind environment for community-minded people and their dogs to share connections and have some fun in a welcoming, playful setting.

This position ensures timely and accurate preparation of drinks for guests. Bartenders will interact with many of Hound Haus’ guests and have a significant impact on a guest’s experience. Our goal is to create a memorable experience for people and their pups in a community-focused café and bar. A successful bartender will be friendly, trustworthy, honest, courteous and knowledgeable about all aspects of our menu and operations. Bartenders will report to the Café/Bar Manager.
We’re open to full or part-time applicants. Flexible hours considered.
What You’ll Do, but not limited to:
· Prepare and serve beer, wine, cocktails, non-alcoholic drinks, dog treats and other food/drink items as needed
· Provide an energetic, outgoing, fun personality while maintaining professionalism
· Communicate effectively with co-workers and guests.
· Be well-versed in the menu and product offerings to enhance guest experience
· Present and encourage current promotions to guests.
· Adhere to safety and hygiene standards
· Maintain a clean bar and work environment
· Manage inventory and supplies, ensuring the bar is well-stocked and orderly.
· Complete all side work as assigned
· Rings out customers, handle cash, process transactions

The ideal candidate has:
· Prior bartending experience
· RAMP certification
· Excellent communication skills and customer service
