Process:
1. When the screens are dry, place the screen on the light table.
2. On the inside of the screen (Squeegee side), pull Split tape (white) the length of the
edge of the screen, or about 3-4 inches below the bottom of the image. Press the tape
into the corner as secure as possible, then lay the side along the mesh as flat to the
screen as possible. Lay the side along the frame flat as well.
3. Repeat for all sides of the screen where necessary.
a. If there is a design on both ends of the screen (pocket/left chest/neck tag), tape
all 4 sides of the screen. If there is no design on one end, tape only the 3 sides
that apply.
4. Turn the screen over to the outside screen (Print side.) Put a piece of Quick Rip tape
(clear) over the File Name/Info/SEP color, as well as any imperfections, registration
marks, and emulsion build up that may occur from the coating process.
5. Look at the screen thoroughly in front of a light source, looking for any pinholes or weak
spots in the emulsion. If any occur, use the Blockout Pen on the Print side, or clear tape
to cover said spots.
6. Double check all necessary tape has been applied.
