Since 1992, Houndstooth has been providing apparel to customers throughout Arkansas. We’re looking for a driven, organized and attentive Retail Manager to oversee retail operations at all five of our storefronts.
We need someone who’s not afraid to step in, take charge, and keep each store running with efficiency, up to Houndstooth standards. Cleanliness, accountability, and a sharp eye for detail are a must. This leader sets the expectation—and knows how to hold others to it.
What You'll Do:
- Oversee day-to-day operations across five retail stores, ensuring each location is operating efficiently and consistently.
- Manage and motivate store managers and their teams to meet goals in sales, customer experience, and operational excellence.
- Uphold our store presentation and cleanliness standards—down to the smallest detail.
- Train, coach, and hold staff accountable, providing clear direction and feedback when expectations aren’t met.
- Monitor inventory levels and merchandising strategies in alignment with brand standards.
- Collaborate with our HQ team to implement campaigns, launches, and seasonal strategies.
- Be the voice of leadership for our values across locations.
Requirements:
- Strong leadership presence—you’re confident in giving direction, course-correcting when needed, and empowering teams to take pride in their work.
- An eye for detail and a high bar for cleanliness, presentation, and process.
- Natural problem-solving instincts and comfort in fast-moving, ever-evolving environments.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Availability to travel regularly between store locations.
Previous Experience Encouraged:
- Experience with Shopify POS or backend operations.
- A proven track record leading multiple retail locations or high-volume stores.
- Prior involvement in retail or a retail brand's headquarters.
