We are looking for a committed and enthusiastic Director Designee / Assistant Childcare Director to help guide our dynamic team and deliver outstanding care to children. This position is ideal for someone with a robust background in early childhood education, leadership skills, and a genuine passion for supporting both children and staff.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist the Director in managing the daily operations of the childcare center. Facilitate staff development, training, and performance evaluations. Ensure adherence to state regulations and licensing standards. Implement and uphold educational programs that create a safe and nurturing environment. Develop strong connections with parents and caregivers, providing regular updates on child development. Assist with budgeting and efficient resource management. Handle administrative duties and promote effective communication within the team.
Qualifications:
Degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field (preferred). Prior experience in childcare management or a leadership role. Familiarity with state childcare regulations and licensing. Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills. Ability to collaborate effectively with staff and families. Passion for working with children and a dedication to their growth.
