Position Overview:
House of Beauty Med Spa is seeking a reliable and friendly Medical Spa Receptionist to join our team. This part-time position will be responsible for managing front desk duties, client interactions, and ensuring the smooth and professional operation of the spa. The ideal candidate will be personable, organized, and able to maintain a high level of professionalism while providing exceptional customer service. The position offers opportunities for growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Open and close the spa on scheduled workdays (Mondays, Wednesdays, and every other Saturday).
- Greet and assist clients with a welcoming and friendly attitude, ensuring a positive spa experience.
- Manage phone calls, schedule appointments, and maintain an efficient booking system.
- Perform client quality control by ensuring that appointments, services, and client preferences are properly documented.
- Answer inquiries about spa services, pricing, and available appointments.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front desk and waiting area.
- Process payments and assist with product sales when needed.
- Handle administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and managing client records.
- Ensure the spa’s atmosphere remains professional and calming for clients.
Qualifications:
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Professional appearance and demeanor.
- Ability to multitask and remain organized in a busy environment.
- Previous experience in customer service or a receptionist role is preferred, but not required.
- Must be reliable and consistent with work schedule.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with booking or scheduling software is a plus.
Schedule:
- Part-time hours: Mondays, Wednesdays, (10am-6pm) and every other Saturday 10am -3pm
- Must be available to open and close the spa on scheduled shifts.
Compensation:
- Starting pay: $17/hour, potential for pay increase after a 90 day period.
