Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Automotive Sales Consultant to join our dynamic sales team. As an Automotive Sales Consultant, you will be responsible for guiding customers through the entire vehicle purchasing process, from initial inquiry to delivery. Your primary goal will be to provide exceptional customer service while achieving sales targets and promoting the dealership's products and services.

Responsibilities:

  • Customer Engagement: Engage with customers in a professional and courteous manner to understand their automotive needs and preferences.
  • Product Knowledge: Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of our vehicle inventory, including features, specifications, and available options, to effectively present and promote vehicles to customers.
  • Sales Process Management: Guide customers through the sales process, including vehicle selection, test drives, financing options, and closing the sale.
  • Relationship Building: Cultivate strong relationships with customers to foster repeat business and referrals. Follow up with customers post-sale to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns.
  • Sales Targets: Meet or exceed monthly sales targets and objectives set by the dealership to contribute to overall sales success.
  • Administrative Tasks: Complete necessary paperwork accurately and efficiently, including sales contracts, financing documents, and customer information forms.
  • Continuous Learning: Stay informed about automotive industry trends, new vehicle models, and competitor offerings to maintain a competitive edge in the market.
  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate with colleagues in sales, finance, and service departments to provide comprehensive solutions and enhance the overall customer experience.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Previous experience in automotive sales or retail sales is preferred but not required. Candidates with a strong sales background in other industries are encouraged to apply.
  • Customer Focus: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a passion for delivering outstanding customer service.
  • Product Knowledge: Ability to quickly learn and retain detailed product information and effectively communicate it to customers.
  • Sales Skills: Proven ability to negotiate and close sales deals while maintaining professionalism and integrity.
  • Goal-Oriented: Results-driven mindset with a demonstrated ability to achieve and exceed sales targets.
  • Team Player: Collaborative attitude with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Tech-Savvy: Proficiency with computer systems, including CRM software and MS Office Suite.
  • Flexibility: Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed to accommodate customer schedules and dealership hours.

Job Type: Commission

Pay: $50,745.00 - $71,494.00 per year

Schedule:

  • Day shift
  • Monday to Friday
  • Weekends as needed

Supplemental Pay:

  • Bonus opportunities
  • Performance bonus
