Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in behavioral analysis and a passion for working with individuals with autism and developmental disabilities. As a BCBA, you will be responsible for conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and providing support to clients and their families. Your expertise will play a crucial role in improving the quality of life for those you serve.

Duties

  • Conduct comprehensive diagnostic evaluations to assess the needs of clients.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans based on assessment results.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including educators and therapists, to ensure cohesive care.
  • Provide training and support to parents, caregivers, and staff on behavior management techniques.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of patient assessments and treatment progress in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Utilize medical terminology effectively when communicating with healthcare professionals.
  • Stay informed about best practices in special education and developmental disabilities to enhance service delivery.
  • Advocate for clients' needs within various settings, including schools and community resources.

Experience

  • A minimum of two years of experience working with children diagnosed with autism or other developmental disabilities is preferred.
  • Proven experience in patient assessment and behavior analysis techniques.
  • Familiarity with special education systems and resources available for families.
  • Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations regarding patient confidentiality.
  • Ability to work effectively with individuals with varying abilities and disabilities.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with clients, families, and professionals.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $69.68 - $75.00 per hour

Expected hours: 5 – 10 per week
