House of Hope, a nonprofit organization, is looking for an experienced Transport Driver with BHT experience to join our team! The ideal candidate for this position will be responsible for providing safe, efficient and timely transportation to and from scheduled appointments for clients.
Experience, Knowledge, and Skills:
· High School Diploma or equivalent required.
· CPR/First Aide Certification.
· Valid driving license with a clean DMV driving record.
· One (1) year of experience working in additions/mental health.
· Two (2) years of van driving experience.
· One (1) year BHT experience preferred.
· Excellent customer service skills.
· Positive and enthusiastic attitude.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Safely transport clients to and from appointments using company vehicles.
- Ensure vehicles are maintained and in good working conditions by conducting weekly vehicle checks for preventive maintenance and safety.
- Check daily that first aid kits and fire extinguishers are present in the company vehicles.
- Ensure proper record keeping of all required transportation logs.
- Ensure vans are kept clean and washed weekly.
- Adhere to all company policies and traffic laws while driving company vehicles.
- Maintain accurate records and details of all trips made.
- Other duties as assigned.
