We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Dog Daycare Attendant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing a safe, fun, and engaging environment for dogs in our care. Your primary focus will be on the well-being of the dogs, ensuring they receive adequate exercise, socialization, and attention throughout the day. This position requires a love for animals and the ability to handle various breeds and temperaments.

Duties

• Supervise and engage with dogs during playtime to ensure their safety and enjoyment.
• Monitor dog behavior and interactions to prevent conflicts and ensure a harmonious environment.
• Administer basic care, including feeding, grooming, and administering medications as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness of the daycare area by cleaning up after dogs and sanitizing play areas.
• Assist in training activities or socialization exercises to promote positive behavior.
• Communicate with pet owners regarding their dogs’ behavior, health, and any concerns that may arise.
• Follow all safety protocols to ensure a secure environment for both dogs and staff.

Experience
Ideal candidates will have experience or skills in the following areas:

• Veterinary technician or assistant experience is a plus.
• Background in dog training or animal handling.
• Familiarity with animal care practices, including grooming and restraint techniques.
• Experience working in a kennel or similar environment is beneficial.
• A genuine love for animals and a commitment to their well-being is essential.

Pay: From $11.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 20 per week
