This is a commission based position that is guaranteed grooming appointments booked out for the year in advance by our in house receptionist.

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Pet Groomer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a love for animals and a strong background in pet care. As a Pet Groomer, you will be responsible for providing grooming services to pets, ensuring their comfort and well-being throughout the grooming process. This role requires excellent animal handling skills and the ability to work with various breeds and temperaments.
Responsibilities
- Perform grooming services including bathing, brushing, trimming, and nail clipping for dogs and other pets.
- Assess the condition of pets' coats and skin to recommend appropriate grooming treatments.
- Maintain a clean and organized grooming area, adhering to safety and sanitation standards.
- Communicate effectively with pet owners regarding their pets' grooming needs and any observed health issues.
- Handle animals safely using proper restraint techniques to ensure their comfort and safety during grooming sessions.
- Provide exceptional customer service to pet owners, fostering positive relationships and repeat business.
- Stay updated on grooming trends, techniques, and products to enhance service offerings.
Experience
- Previous experience of two years in pet grooming is mandatory; additional training may be provided for the right candidate.
- Skills in animal restraint and handling are essential for ensuring safety during grooming sessions.

Pay: $23.71 - $26.10 per hour
