Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper/Laundry professional to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in guest rooms and common areas, as well as managing laundry services, including washing, drying, and dry cleaning of linens and garments. Your attention to detail and commitment to providing a welcoming environment will ensure our guests have a pleasant stay.
Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces.
- Launder linens, towels, and other items using appropriate washing techniques and chemicals.
- Manage dry cleaning services for guests as needed, ensuring items are handled with care.
- Maintain cleanliness in common areas such as lobbies, hallways, and restrooms.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
- Ensure all cleaning supplies are stocked and organized for efficient use.
- Follow health and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
Experience
- Previous experience in a hotel or hospitality setting is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with laundry equipment and cleaning supplies is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Excellent time management skills to complete tasks efficiently within designated time frames.
