General Summary:
This position is responsible for maintaining high paced production, quality, cost efficiency, and yields while ensuring the safest working environment possible. This position requires a general understanding and control of the production process of poultry, accurate record keeping for associates time and attendance. You will be responsible for supervising and training production associates.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Train and provide an environment for employees to achieve their maximum quality and productivity performance in their respective positions.
- Manage employees' performance, providing positive and/or corrective feedback.
- Promote department and company positivity through pro-active employee communication and involvement.
- Promotes yield and product efficiency while ensuring safety as a priority.
Skills & Qualifications:
- 1 or more years of previous supervisory experience in Live Hang Dept. and or Evis Dept.
- Poultry or food industry experience a plus.
- Previous leadership skills with 20 or more employees.
- Effective communication both orally and written.
- Must have basic computer skills.
- Must be able to work assigned hours/days – including occasional weekends – as required
Educational Requirements:
High School Diploma/GED or College Degree preferred.
