We are looking for an experienced and highly motivated Maintenance Manager to oversee the maintenance of systems and equipment at our facility. The role involves managing preventive maintenance schedules, supervising staff, and ensuring operational reliability of facility systems. The Maintenance Manager will also play a key leadership role in 5S and Lean management practices and will communicate all maintenance-related matters. Additionally, the Maintenance Manager will be required to learn how to navigate our CMMS on FMX, a work order system, and participate in frequent TPC training programs. Refrigeration knowledge is preferred but not required, as training will be provided.
Requirements:Key Responsibilities:
- Preventive & Corrective Maintenance: Ensure systems and equipment are functioning at peak performance by managing preventive maintenance schedules and addressing faults with timely repairs or replacements.
- Team Leadership: Supervise, coach, train, and manage a team of maintenance associates; handle staffing, promotions, counseling, and discipline as needed.
- 5S & Lean Management: Lead initiatives related to 5S and Lean principles to improve efficiency and safety in the maintenance department.
- Report on maintenance activities, including safety issues (EHS), budgeting, inventory, purchasing, and staffing matters.
- Operational Standards: Contribute to the development of strategic plans and reviews; ensure maintenance supports production, quality, and customer service standards.
- Financial Management: Provide budgetary input and monitor expenditures; recommend corrective actions for budget variances.
- Problem-Solving: Identify operational issues and develop action plans to address equipment or system malfunctions.
- Safety & Compliance: Ensure all maintenance activities comply with safety regulations and legal codes; maintain a safe and healthy work environment.
- Training & Development: Stay up-to-date on industry trends and technologies; encourage the development of all maintenance associates through educational opportunities, including frequent TPC training programs.
- CMMS/Work Order System: Learn to navigate the CMMS system (FMX) to manage work orders and track maintenance tasks.
- Additional Responsibilities: Support production managers in other tasks as needed.
