Role Overview:
This Commercial Driver role is an integral part of our logistics team, responsible for transporting feed from the production facility to our grower farms. The ideal candidate will possess excellent driving skills, be physically capable of performing tasks associated with commercial driving, and demonstrate a commitment to safety protocols and regulatory compliance.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Transport feed from the production facility to designated grower farms, adhering to all relevant regulations and guidelines.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with grower partners, ensuring timely and efficient deliveries.
- Collaborate with the production and logistics teams to optimize delivery schedules and routes.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance knowledge and skills related to commercial driving and safety protocols.
- Comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and company policies related to commercial driving, vehicle maintenance, and cargo handling.
Requirements:
- At least 1 year of commercial driving experience with a clean MVR record.
- A valid CDL license and ability to pass a background check.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Physical stamina to perform tasks associated with commercial driving, such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances.
