JOB SUMMARY: An Off Premise Sales Representative is responsible for the sales, distribution, inventories, freshness, merchandising, and customer relations of the accounts assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Valid Kansas Driver’s License; excellent driving record required
- Must be able to obtain a valid Kansas Alcoholic Beverage Control Salesman Permit
- Good communication skills
- Minimum of six months in previous position preferred
- Completion of ABU Sales Representative Certification
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Requires heavy physical work; heavy lifting, pushing and pulling required of objects up to 340 pounds
- Work in adverse weather conditions
- Work with minimal supervision
- Neatly groomed at all times; polished shoes, clean/pressed appropriate attire
- Maintain professional attitude, cooperative, adheres to company policy
- Ensures the safe use of company equipment
- Attends all training sessions as required
- Attends all meetings on time and as scheduled
- Attends work as scheduled – no unexcused absences
ROLE:

- Adhere to Anheuser-Busch quality control standards at all times through stock rotation and adherence to our distress flow chart
- Ensure customer satisfaction through professional selling, team spirit and timely service and follow-up. Is friendly and courteous to customers at all times.
- Adhere to all beverage laws of the State of Kansas
TYPICAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Maximize sales and distribution as relates to the overall objectives of the company
- Provide quality, timely service to all customers
- Establish and maintain constructive relationships with customers; entertainment as appropriate
- Reviews sales and trends with customers on a regular schedule
- Monitors all front line and discount price activities insuring accurate P.T.R. and P.T.C.’s
- Maintains accurate computer customer history including opening and closing accounts in a timely manner. All account information must be completed before sale of product.
- Maintains account profiles that are complete and accurate
- Effectively balances inventory levels in all assigned accounts
- Provides inventory levels, market activities, competitor’s information as requested
- Sell in displays with appropriate themed POS
- Sell in permanent, temporary and custom POS as appropriate
- Insures that all POS is clean, functional and updated.
- Sell in banner placements when appropriate
- Sell in cooler sets, aggressively pursues additional space for our products
- Rotation, every account, every call; maintaining compliance with our distress flow chart. All product with older dates must be placed in front of product with newer dates.
- Maintains freshness rotation schedule at all times. Ensures that close dated product is monitored and that it is picked up or sold through before the product’s pull date.
- Maintains accurate, up-to-date schematics in accounts
- Ensure all authorized packages appear on the shelves, have appropriate space and are faced.
- Packages must be maintained in clean, undamaged condition; breakage is traded out
- Builds displays following our merchandising standards
- Refreshes all displays every account, every call
- Coolers are stocked, pulled up and faced every account, every call
- Generates order for service rep
- Initiates or takes care of hot shots when necessary
- Introduces new packages as they become available
- Keeps retailers informed as to pricing and promotion schedules
- Communicates with office as required
- Completes all assigned paperwork in a neat, accurate and timely fashion.
- Performs additional duties as requested by Team Leader
