We are seeking a motivated and organized Part-Time Office Manager/Designer to join our team. This dual-role position combines administrative expertise with creative design skills to support the daily operations of our company and contribute to the design aspects of our projects. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, customer-focused, and has a passion for design and organization.
Key Responsibilities:
Office Management (50%)
- Manage day-to-day office operations, including emails, scheduling, ordering, and document organization.
- Maintain project schedules, timelines, and budgets.
- Assist with bookkeeping and invoicing.
Design Support (50%)
- Collaborate with the design team to develop concepts and layouts for residential and commercial projects.
- Create mood boards, design renderings, and material selections.
- Assist in sourcing, ordering, and tracking materials and furnishings.
- Prepare design proposals to clients.
- Communicate to the crew for clear direction of design.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or relevant experience in Interior Design, Architecture, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail.
- Proficiency in design software (e.g., AutoCAD, or Chief Architect).
- Familiarity with project management tools is a plus (e.g., BuilderTrend).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Knowledge of construction or design-build processes is a plus.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 5 – 25 per week
