Description
The Collections Manager will be responsible for managing and maintaining the companies accounts receivables. This individual will collaborate with company management to achieve business goals, maintain and create new processes that improve the customer experience, establish effective customer credit lending parameters, and improve the company’s collection metrics
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage customer accounts
- Handle all customer account questions and issues
- Handle all advanced account collections including but not limited to hot checks, charge-offs, repossessions, and bankruptcies
- Assist collectors in researching individuals to obtain new address and or contact information when needed
- Contacting customers regarding their accounts via phone, text, email, and home visits if necessary
- Negotiate payment arrangements when needed
- Taking payments in person as well as by phone and web
- Properly documenting all customer contacts and collection efforts
- Keep customer information current including name, address, work information and references
- Make sure all account information is updated and current
- Route the outside collector so he is efficient and covers all areas of town during the week
- Monitor outside collectors efforts and results
Required skills:
- Bilingual
- Comfortable navigation computer software
- Superior written and verbal communication skills, bilingual
- Ability to listen to customers to negotiate solutions and resolve conflict
- Must be highly organized with strong multitasking, prioritization and time managements skills
- Knowledge of current State and Federal collection laws and standards
- Ability to work both independently and as a group
- Must possess a valid driver's license
- Ability to work evenings and weekends - see attached work schedule

Salary : $45,000 - $65,000
