Household Furniture is seeking reliable, motivated and hard working individuals for our several positions in our Distribution Center: A Delivery Driver, Lift Operator, and Warehouse Worker. Household Furniture is seeking reliable, motivated and hard working individuals for our several positions in our Distribution Center: A Delivery Driver, Lift Operator, and Warehouse Worker. Key Requirements:
- Valid State License
- Complete Drug / Background Check
- Clean driving record
- Ability to lift heavy furniture
- Load merchandise on vehicles
- Put merchandise into a customer’s home
- Maintaining vehicle (wash/clean inside & out of vehicle)
- Pride in your work environment as a team player
- Unload furniture trailers properly, minimizing product damage
- Put away merchandise in racks, minimizing product damage
- Assemble merchandise with care, working conscientiously to limit damage
- Pull merchandise for customer pick ups and deliveries, minimizing product damage
- Conduct cycle count inventory
- Have a safety first mindset and look for ways to avoid accidents
- Take ownership in assigned equipment and perform daily equipment inspections
- Contribute to and maintain a clean working environment
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned
- Ability to work within teams and follow directions
- Ability to actively listen
- Ability to communicate effectively and utilize communication tools appropriately
- Ability to contribute to the company's overall success
- Basic understanding of a WMS
- Basic knowledge of RF scanners
- Minimum 1 year of related experience
- Reliable, positive attitude, high energy
- Must be able to lift heavy objects
- Receive and ship (load and unload) merchandise
- Assemble merchandise with care, working conscientiously to limit damage
- Work the recycling station and maintain machinery and notify management of any issues with machinery
- Contribute to and maintain a clean working environment
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned (example taking the trash out)
- Ability to work within teams and follow directions
