Position: Household Manager/Nanny
Location: Bay Village, Ohio (with travel to other homes in Oberlin and Marblehead, OH)
Position Type: Live-Out (local candidates preferred)
Start Date: Immediate! Looking for someone to start within two weeks.
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9AM–5PM, with flexibility to stay later 1–2 evenings per week (planned a month in advance).
Salary: $35–$40/hour, W-2 employment.
Benefits: Full benefits package, including medical, 401(k), PTO, 5 sick days, paid major holidays, and car provided for work-related duties.
About the Family
A welcoming and active family of six with two sets of twins (7-year-old boys and 9-year-old girls) is seeking a skilled Household Manager/Nanny to manage their homes and support their dynamic lifestyle.
The family splits their time primarily between Bay Village and Oberlin, with summers spent at their lake condo in Marblehead. This position will be split primarily between the home in Bay Village and the Oberlin property to ensure smooth household operations.
Responsibilities
Household Management:
- Oversee the daily operations of the family’s homes.
- Manage household inventory, shopping, errands, and coordination with the farm/property manager and executive assistant.
- Perform light housekeeping and tidying (a housekeeper handles deep cleaning).
- Complete family laundry.
- Prepare simple, healthy meals 2–3 times a week, incorporating ingredients from the family’s farm (gluten-free, low/no dairy, low sugar).
- Identify opportunities to improve household organization and create systems to make daily life smoother.
Childcare:
- Support the children after school and during school holidays with supervision, entertainment, and activities.
- Provide homework help and prepare snacks and lunches.
- Occasionally handle school pickups and stay with the children while the parents attend to other activities.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years as a Household Manager/Nanny, with verifiable references.
- Skills: High energy, organized, detail-oriented, and proactive; must be able to take initiative and work independently.
- Childcare: Must genuinely enjoy working with children and have the ability to connect with and engage them.
- Driver’s License: Valid driver’s license required, with a clean driving record.
- Background Checks: Full background and drug screenings will be conducted upon an offer of hire.
- Commitment: Seeking candidates interested in a long-term position - Ideally 10 years.

- Travel: Time is split between the Bay Village home and the Oberlin property. Increased time at the Marblehead condo during summer months may be required.
