Title: Temp House Manager/Nanny - 3 - month Contract!
Location: Gig Harbor, WA
Schedule:
- Monday through Friday: Split shift schedule (approximately 7:30–10:30 AM and 3:00–8:30 PM).
- Saturdays: Support with morning business on Saturdays would be very helpful - another day can be taken off during the week if saturdays are worked.
- Full-Time: Approximately 40 hours per week.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Hourly Rate: $35–$45/hour, depending on experience.
Position Overview:
A busy and active family of five in Gig Harbor, WA, is seeking a Household Manager/Nanny to assist with organizing their home and overall household management. The family has three boys (ages 6, 5, and 1.5 years). Childcare and supporting mom through getting the children ready for school, dinner, and bedtime are a part of this position. The role involves working closely with a busy stay-at-home mom to streamline their household, support the children’s needs, and help with various tasks to create a more organized and functional home. The father’s schedule is hectic and sporadic, so reliability and adaptability are crucial. Responsibilities:
Household Management/Organization:
- Assist with unpacking and organizing items from their recent cross country move.
- Establish and implement organizational systems for the household, including seasonal and age-appropriate child clothing storage solutions.
- Declutter and manage purging items, including donating or selling as needed.
- Light housekeeping: empty dishwasher, flip laundry, and general tidying to maintain order.
- Support with planning and managing the household’s daily schedule.
Childcare Support:
- Willingness to help with childcare as needed, especially 1.5-year-old during school pickups or errands, often while the baby naps.
- Assist mom with morning routines, after-school transitions, and bedtime routines.
- Drive children to and from school or activities if needed.
- Engage with the children in a fun, active, and patient manner.
