What are the responsibilities and job description for the Family Assistant position at Household Staffing?
Private family in Larchmont, New York, is in search of an Family Assistant to work in their home Monday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
They are looking for someone who can do a hybrid role of a little household management as well as light housekeeping, laundry, and meal prep (be able to follow a recipe). Also, someone who can do grocery shopping/run errands and work with vendors.
The family is at their Florida home from January to April, so someone who is OK with only working May through December every year. They would be open to discussing a year round salary as well, but there is little to no work during the months they are in Florida. They also have a home in The Hamptons, so the individual would need to go there as well.
The main home in Larchmont has a private detached carriage home where the housekeeper could live in or stay over as needed.

Position Responsibilities
- Housekeeping: Light housekeeping; they will have deep cleaners come monthly
- Cooking: Simple, be able to follow a recipe
- Laundry: Family Laundry
- Errands: 2/3 times a wk Grocery Shopping
- Driving: Required for errands
Position Requirements

Position Compensation
- Salary: 4 months x $1,500, 8 months x $7,000 = Total = $62,000/year
- Living Accommodations: Live In or Live Out - They have a carriage house with bedroom/kitchen/bathroom on first floor .
