Job Description: The client is looking for a skilled and trustworthy nanny to care for their three young children: a 4-year-old boy, a 1.5-year-old boy, and a 2-week-old baby girl. The primary responsibility will be caring for the 4-year-old and 1.5-year-old, as the baby is still in the early stages of care. This position will be based in Philadelphia for 7-8 months out of the year, with the nanny also traveling with the family to Florida for 1-2 weeks in the few months of the year that they are down there. In Florida, the nanny will be provided with private accommodation, including a private bedroom and bathroom within the family’s home, with hotel accommodations if needed.
The nanny will be responsible for providing nurturing, age-appropriate care for the children, including taking them to various activities and outings such as parks, playdates, and appointments. A clean driving record are essential, as the nanny will need to drive the children to and from activities. Additionally, the nanny will assist with the family’s daily routine, which may include meal prep, nap times, playtime, and helping with other child related household tasks as needed. The client is looking for someone who is flexible and adaptable, especially during the husband’s demanding work periods, and able to work closely with the mother to ensure the best care for the children. The husband’s work is demanding for 6 months out of the year. This is when they truly need someone who can be flexible with them.
